The dozens of hectares of green grass at Cingjing Farm's Green Green Grasslands feed hundreds of sheep and cattle. The deep valleys, carved by the snowmelt from Hehuan Mountain and Qilai Mountain, flow with clear streams that nourish Sun Moon Lake. The highest northern section of the Central Mountain Range—including Qilai North Peak, Qilai Main Peak, Mount Nanhua, Mount Nenggao, Mount Andongjun, and the Hehuan peaks—forms a high wall like a ribbon. This delays the morning light, traps the early morning mist, and turns the cloud waterfalls crossing over from Hualien into a sea of clouds in the Zhuoshui River valley.
