| Sun Moon Lake Round-the-Lake Boat

Enjoy a full lake tour appreciating the scenic mountains and waters of Sun Moon Lake, accompanied by the captain's warm service and live guided commentary on board. Along the way, you can catch views of The Lalu, Sun Moon Inn, Lalu Island, Ci'en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, Xuanguang Temple, floating boathouses, four-handed dip nets, the cable car station, the water outlet, and Wenwu Temple.

｜Sun Moon Lake Ropeway

The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway is 1877.15 meters long, running through Buji Mountain with an altitude of 1044 meters. It takes around 16 minutes to go for a round trip. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the lake and the mountain. If the humidity condition is right, you will be lucky to overlook this fantastic fairyland bathes in the midst of fogs. The Ropeway is one of the most charming ways to explore the beauty of Sun Moon Lake with your own eyes. You can’t miss it!

<Ticket Type>

This is an electronic ticket (QR Code) and a physical ticket will not be sent separately.
After completing the payment, please check your email to receive the "payment successful notification" email. You can use the QR code attached in the email for verification, or you can go to the website's "Member Center" → "My Orders" → "Paid" page → click "View" to access the QR Code for verification.
Present your electronic voucher (QR code) at the redemption counter, show the QR code to the staff to exchange or scan it at the kiosk .

<Entry Instructions>

｜Sun Moon Lake Boat Tour

Present your e-voucher (QR Code) at the Matsu Boat (碼頭船隊) redemption counter at Shuishe Wharf. After the staff scans and verifies the QR Code, you will receive a physical paper ticket to board at the designated pier.
Shuishe Redemption Counter: No. 11, Mingsheng St., Yuchi Township.
Ita Thao Visitor Center Ticket Office [Counter No. 5 & 6]: No. 127, Wenhua St., Yuchi Township, Nantou County.
Important: Please keep your physical paper ticket safe. You must present the ticket each time you board. If lost, you will need to purchase a new ticket; no reissues will be provided.

【Sun Moon Lake Ropeway】

Please take your QR Code to the <Self-service Ticket Machine at the 2F Service Counter of Sun Moon Lake Ropeway Station>. Scan it to exchange for a physical admission ticket, then proceed to the <3F Ropeway Boarding Platform Gate> and scan the QR Code on the physical ticket to enter.

The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway electronic voucher is valid for one person per ticket and is limited to one round-trip ride only.

Payment Deadline: Please complete payment within 1 hour after the order is created. Otherwise, the system will automatically cancel the order.
Order Modification: Modifications are not supported. To change the quantity, please cancel the entire order and re-order.
Cancellation Policy:
- No partial refunds: Only "Full Order Cancellation" is supported. Individual items within an order cannot be cancelled separately.
- No refunds after use: Once a ticket has been redeemed or used, no refund requests will be accepted.
- Refundable: Unused tickets within the validity period can be refunded via "This Website" > Member Center > My Orders.

This plan must be used within one year of purchase. All items must be completed within 14 days starting from the day the first item is used.
[Example] If purchased on 2026/7/1, you must use the first item by 2027/7/1. If you start using it on 2026/7/1, all remaining items must be used by 2026/7/14.

Expired tickets will automatically become invalid. No exchanges or refunds will be accepted. Please use them within the validity period.

Please check the operating hours of the merchants/venues. If redemption is unavailable during a specific period, please visit during other regular business hours within the validity period.
In the event of force majeure (including but not limited to typhoons, earthquakes, heavy rain, etc.), the organizer may postpone or cancel the activity for safety reasons. The organizer reserves the right to modify or terminate event details.

【Sun Moon Lake Ropeway - Special Notes】

The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway electronic voucher is valid for one person per ticket and is limited to one round-trip ride on the day of use only.
As this voucher is for the ropeway ride only, it does NOT include admission to Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. Passengers may only board from the Ita Thao Sun Moon Lake Main Station and cannot enter from the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village Station.
This is an Adult Ticket. If you require other ticket types, please purchase them on-site. 【Fare Table】
Seasonal thunderstorms often occur in the Sun Moon Lake area. For safety reasons, the facility will temporarily close when there is a risk of lightning. We recommend checking the 【Official Sun Moon Lake Ropeway Website】 or calling to confirm operation status before your visit.
Bicycles, pets not in carriers, or other large, sharp, or hazardous items are prohibited (except for guide dogs).
Smoking, eating, drinking, and chewing gum or betel nut are strictly prohibited inside the cabins.

【Sun Moon Lake Sightseeing Cruise - Special Notes】

[Notice of Adjustment for Sun Moon Lake Boat Tickets]: In accordance with the Sun Moon Lake Boat Crew regulations, tickets have been adjusted to "Round-the-Lake Vouchers" (limited to one full circuit returning to the initial boarding pier). If you require multiple stop-overs, additional fees must be paid on-site as per the provider's regulations. Please refer to on-site announcements for details.
Physical tickets are non-registered valuable vouchers. Please keep them safe after redemption. No reissuance or exchange will be provided in the event of loss, destruction, damage, or expiration.
For safety reasons, the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration will announce a suspension of navigation in the event of heavy fog, typhoons (when the Nantou County Government announces a suspension of work and classes), or poor weather conditions.
No compensation or refunds can be claimed if voyages are delayed by weather or other force majeure factors.
Bicycles are permitted on board for an additional cleaning fee of NT$100 per bike. However, please note that not all boats can carry bicycles due to varying vessel types; please consult staff in advance.
