《Leisure》 European palace dance in the Water-Sand-Link European Garden, covering about six hectares, showing the grandeur of a royal garden. It's Taiwan's largest European-style garden and a popular filming location for many dramas. With Baroque music playing alongside the Roman fountains, you can take a leisure train through the garden, feeling the breeze, or stroll past the garden's fountains and bell tower to enjoy a lavish lunch at the majestic Regal Palace restaurant.

| Sun Moon Lake Round-the-Lake Boat

Enjoy a full lake tour appreciating the scenic mountains and waters of Sun Moon Lake, accompanied by the captain's warm service and live guided commentary on board. Along the way, you can catch views of The Lalu, Sun Moon Inn, Lalu Island, Ci'en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, Xuanguang Temple, floating boathouses, four-handed dip nets, the cable car station, the water outlet, and Wenwu Temple.

  • This is an electronic ticket (QR Code) and a physical ticket will not be sent separately.
  • After completing the payment, please check your email to receive the "payment successful notification" email. You can use the QR code attached in the email for verification, or you can go to the website's "Member Center" → "My Orders" → "Paid" page → click "View" to access the QR Code for verification.
  • Present your electronic voucher (QR code) at the redemption counter, show the QR code to the staff to exchange or scan it at the kiosk .

  1. Entering from the <Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village Entrance>: Please take your QR Code to the <Electronic Ticket Redemption Point>. Scan it at the self-service machine to obtain a physical admission ticket, then scan the QR code on the physical ticket at the gate to enter.
  2. Entering from the <Sun Moon Lake Ropeway Entrance>: Please take your QR Code to the <Self-service Ticket Machine at the 2F Service Counter of Sun Moon Lake Ropeway Station>. Scan it to exchange for a physical admission ticket, then go to the <3F Ropeway Boarding Platform Gate> and scan the QR Code on the physical ticket to enter.

  • Present your e-voucher (QR Code) at the Matsu Boat (碼頭船隊) redemption counter at Shuishe Wharf. After the staff scans and verifies the QR Code, you will receive a physical paper ticket to board at the designated pier.
  • Shuishe Redemption Counter: No. 11, Mingsheng St., Yuchi Township.
  • Ita Thao Visitor Center Ticket Office [Counter No. 5 & 6]: No. 127, Wenhua St., Yuchi Township, Nantou County.
  • Important: Please keep your physical paper ticket safe. You must present the ticket each time you board. If lost, you will need to purchase a new ticket; no reissues will be provided.

  • The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway is valid only on the day of entry to Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. The ropeway is a complimentary bonus item, and the park reserves the right to terminate this offer. In the event of a temporary suspension of ropeway service for any reason, no further compensation or ticket refunds will be provided.
    • The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway may extend operating hours for major events (e.g., Cherry Blossom Festival). Operating hours may also be adjusted due to weather, power outages, or system maintenance.
    • The ropeway is closed for maintenance on the first Wednesday of every month. Additional closure dates for annual major maintenance will be announced as needed. 【Click here to view schedule】

    • Group Tickets: Applicable for groups of 20 or more traveling by coach bus (Reservation required by phone at least one day in advance). Group rates apply based on the conditions in the table below.
    • Children under 3 years old or under 100 cm in height enter for free; proof of age and accompaniment by a parent are required. (Per Tourism Administration regulations, the caregiver-to-toddler ratio for children under 3 is 1:3; for children with special needs, a 1:1 ratio with a legal guardian or volunteer is required).

【Sun Moon Lake Sightseeing Cruise - Special Notes】

  • [Notice of Adjustment for Sun Moon Lake Boat Tickets]: In accordance with the Sun Moon Lake Boat Crew regulations, tickets have been adjusted to "Round-the-Lake Vouchers" (limited to one full circuit returning to the initial boarding pier). If you require multiple stop-overs, additional fees must be paid on-site as per the provider's regulations. Please refer to on-site announcements for details.
  • Physical tickets are non-registered valuable vouchers. Please keep them safe after redemption. No reissuance or exchange will be provided in the event of loss, destruction, damage, or expiration.
  • For safety reasons, the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration will announce a suspension of navigation in the event of heavy fog, typhoons (when the Nantou County Government announces a suspension of work and classes), or poor weather conditions.
  • No compensation or refunds can be claimed if voyages are delayed by weather or other force majeure factors.
  • Bicycles are permitted on board for an additional cleaning fee of NT$100 per bike. However, please note that not all boats can carry bicycles due to varying vessel types; please consult staff in advance.
